On 29 May 2026, the BIOSHIELD Fair (Multiplier Event) and the Career Day of the Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics at Democritus University of Thrace were jointly organized, bringing together students, researchers, and industry stakeholders for a day of networking and knowledge exchange.
The participants had the opportunity to learn about the achievements and outcomes of the BIOSHIELD project, while also exploring career opportunities and gaining valuable insights into current trends and challenges in novel biotechnological solutions in climate change mitigation.
Through presentations, discussions, networking activities, and interactions with stakeholders from academia and industry, the event strengthened the connection between research, innovation, and the labor market, supporting the professional development of future scientists.
